“Come with me to where dreams are born, and time is never planned.” ~~~ Peter Pan

Oh! In other words, retirement. 😎 Nope. Not being funny at all. Mere lack of money is no reason to stop dreaming. Do an online search relative to how many people have made amazing, lasting impacts on their world after the age most people stop living and focus only on the approach of death.
Age is mind over matter. As long as you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter.
Has God stopped answering prayer? Are you still breathing and able to function? Then why on Earth would you ever decide that, upon retirement, you’re destined to be sidelined? Why settle for allowing what you can’t do keep you from doing what you can?
So what if the young and mighty routinely overlook you for somebody younger? So what if they see you standing with everyone else, and just go right on looking past you and picking all the others until you’re standing alone? They don’t know you. They don’t know your story, because they’ve not lived long enough to appreciate where you’ve been, and where God’s leading you.

If they’re fools enough to never bother sitting at your feet and wanting to hear your story, wanting to make use of who you are and what you’re capable of, then they’re the losers, aren’t they?
You’ve heard if your only tool is a hammer, you tend to see every problem as a nail? It is a sad trait of the young, but not restricted to them, to only look at the tools currently in one’s toolbox and never give thought to using new ones.

Standing alone? So what? Start your own line! Dare to keep dreaming, to keep putting one foot in front of the other. Circumstances can be changed, because YOU are always the sum of your own choices. Circumstances in the broader sense maybe can’t be greatly altered – but they can be shaped. You can change your routine, your habits, your expectations to bend those circumstances to your will instead of letting them ride you.
As you continue to do your best with what you have, God will always honor that. I can’t tell you how, for I don’t know.

He does. Take heart! God knows you, knows your worth, your experience, your unique qualities and abilities. They don’t shut down just because you no longer log in.
Keep dreaming. Keep your time yours. You plan your days and evenings, while pleasantly disallowing others who are always intent on doing so for you. With respect, it’s neither their life nor their schedule. It’s yours.
You never know where God’s opportunities for you will show up.
Or when.
