Albert Schweitzer once wrote, “Sometimes our light goes out but is blown again into flame by an encounter with another human being. Each of us owes the deepest thanks to those who have rekindled this inner light.”
We’ve all experienced that. Sometimes the person offering the lift to you never knows just how desperately you needed their encouraging word or thoughtful action. Sometimes they’re not even aware they’re the reason you’re still in the fight.
Sometimes you, my friend, have been the thoughtful, kind benefactor whose timely love-driven words and acts bolstered the lagging faith of another. It’s probably become a habit with you. You likely never realize you’re doing it.
Well, you are. You do. I know it’s not done for notice or kudos from the balcony. I also know sometimes you can wear out a little and need some of your own stuff.
So. This little movie is by way of returning a smidge of the blessing you are to so many others. While you’re watching and experiencing this neat investment of grace, be thinking about who you know could use its encouragement. Tell ’em to log on and watch it for themselves.
You know what they’ll do with it, right?
